This
year’s Benefits open enrollment will be July 7 through August 31.
All
employees will be required to enroll or decline benefits in THEbenefitsHUB
this year in preparation for requirements of the Patient Protection and
Affordable Care Act.
You
can log in to www.mybenefitshub.com/springbranchisd at any time
throughout the year to check your current benefits. Your user ID for THEbenefitsHUB
is the same as your Spring Branch ISD username. Before open enrollment
begins on July 7, all passwords in THEbenefitsHUB will be reset to your
last name and the last four digits of your social security number for your
convenience.
We
will have a Benefits Lab in the Wayne F. Schaper Leadership Center
(Administration Building) lobby from 8:00
am-4:30 pm on the following days:

Tuesdays
and Wednesdays beginning on July 8 through August 6
·
Monday
through Friday beginning August 11 through August 29
We
also will host voluntary meetings throughout July to provide information
regarding your 2014-2015 health insurance and other benefit plan options. Some
of the supplemental insurance plans have changed carriers and rates. You will
be able to complete your enrollment with the assistance of a Benefits
representative at these meetings. The meetings will be held at 10:00 am in the
Administration Building Board Room on the following days:

TRS
will set rates and benefits for TRS ActiveCare at their June 5-6, 2014
meeting. Our SBISD Board of Trustees will determine how much the
District will contribute to each plan when the FY2015 budget is approved in
June. Employees will be notified of their share of the health
insurance premium as this information becomes available.
