Summer Work Schedule for 11 and 12 Month Employees

SBISD’s 4-day/week summer work schedule for 11 and 12 month employees will be effective beginning Monday, June 9 through Friday, August 8, 2014. We will return to the regular 5-day work week schedule beginning the week of Monday, August 11, 2014.

Details are outlined below:

• For most staff, work hours will be Monday -Thursday, 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., including a 30-minute lunch break. Supervisors may approve a 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. schedule.
• All offices will be closed every Friday between these dates, with the exception of campuses under construction.
• Supervisors may schedule Friday work for staff on an as needed basis.

This summer schedule supports our efforts to reduce our utility bills as part of our energy management program. Your senior staff member may approve exceptions to this schedule, if necessary.
