SBISD Bond Election is Tuesday, Nov. 7

Exercise your right to vote! All SBISD employees are encouraged to vote tomorrow for state, local and school district related propositions that may be on their local ballots. Early voting ended on Friday, Nov. 3.

Election Day voting for the 2017 Bond will be held from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 7, at resident address-based precinct locations. SBISD employees who reside in district will vote at one of the following precincts:

In Spring Branch ISD, the $898.4 million Bond referendum would impact every campus and would:
  • Replace nine elementary schools and Landrum Middle School
  • Add a new classroom building at Memorial and Northbrook high schools; replace the Stratford High auditorium and renovate the cafeteria/library at Spring Woods High
  • Add a classroom wing at Cedar Brook Elementary
  • Upgrade safety and security, building systems and technology at all campuses, including classroom furniture for secondary schools
  • Replace Career & Technical Education classroom equipment
  • Replace aged musical instruments and uniforms
  • Upgrade athletics, including turf fields at 4 traditional high schools
  • Replace older buses
The district does not expect a tax rate increase if voters approve this bond.
