Announcing the Vanguard Fellowship - Apply Today!

We’re seeking innovative teachers who are using technology in transformational ways to be part of the SBISD Vanguard Fellowship.  Are you a teacher interested in:

• sharing your classroom learning environment with fellow educators,
• modeling high quality learning practices where technology is a tool to increase student
• engagement and achievement
• coaching fellow teachers with open, collaborative practices and partnering with them in making transformation
• driving learning and sharing with others around the world!

Apply today to be a Vanguard Fellowship Cohort member. Members will be selected based on the strength of their application and a one-on-one visit/interview. The Vanguard Cohort will replace the existing eTrainer role and does not follow a 1 per campus model.  Selected members will form a year-one cohort.

The Timeline for the 1st Vanguard Cohort is:

• January 2016 Application Process - Opens January 4th (Closes February 26)
• February/March 2016 Classroom Visits/Interviews
• April 2016 1^st Vanguard Cohort Announced
• April - May 2016 Book Study/Online Module
• May 24, 2016 Face to Face Training Classroom Model Development/Instructional Design
• Summer 2016 Micro-Credentialing Opportunities via ItsLearning
• June 26-29, 2016 ISTE Conference - Denver, Colorado
• Fall 2016 Cohort 1 Implemented on campuses
