The following two retirement items may be of interest to you:

Annual TRS Statements Due in October - November

In 2013, TRS began using a standard year of September 1 – August 31 to report salaries.  This is a reminder that the 2014 annual salary that will appear on your TRS Annual Statement will be the salary that was reported to TRS from September 1 – August 31.  The amount may not match your annual salary if your duty year does not match the TRS standard year.  TRS has emphasized that the amounts shown on the statements are unaudited.

TRS Group Benefit Presentations

TRS is again hosting group benefit presentations throughout the state.  TRS is accepting only online registration for the group meetings through MyTRS accounts .  Registration is open and will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis.  If you are not already registered for MyTRS you may go to the MyTRS LogIn to register.  Members will receive a confirmation email with their scheduled date and time.
