Highlights from Our Share a Smile Customer Service Program

The competition for the most “Yay!” customer input comments is really heating up (just in time for this cold weather!!).

Congratulations to Rummel Creek Elementary for receiving the most Yays! from their happy customers in the month of December—17 Yays!  Thank you for making your customers feel:

Welcomed • Heard • Valued • Helped

Here are a few nice comments posted by Rummel Creek customers:

1. Parent: Everyone at RCE goes out of their way to make sure that everyone feels welcome and to be helpful. Jenny and Christine are always a joy to see when I walk in the office.

2. Parent regarding a 5th grade safety patrol: Very polite girl opened door for me and looked me in the eye to say “you're welcome” in response to my “thank you.” Sounds simple, but doesn't always happen!

3. Parent: Karen is a great asset to RCE. She is tremendously helpful not only in her job as librarian, but also with school fundraisers and promotions.

Not far behind Rummel Creek were Edgewood Elementary with 12 Yays! and Nottingham Elementary with 10! YAY to all!

Each participating Share A Smile location has a customer input icon on their website.

Comments go directly to the site leader. Encourage YOUR customers to use it to submit comments about your team.

IDEA: Some people have added the link to their email signatures to solicit input from that touch point.

Fun with Paint: Wilchester Elementary school staff joined the Share A Smile campaign this school year, under the direction of principal Rian Evans and counselor Cira Gatling. Their three Share A Smile Activities for this school year are:

1. Conducting an “Extreme Makeover” of the main conference room based on staff and parent input to make it more comfortable and welcoming.
2. Wildcat Wow!—staff members will send (and receive!) notes of gratitude
3. RAK it Up!: Wilchester’s 100 Random Acts of Kindness—a huge poster will be created where students, staff and parents will share random acts of kindness
