Benefits, including health insurance, represent a significant portion of the total compensation package for many District employees. SBISD continues to contribute a greater percentage to our health insurance premiums than surrounding districts. While you are not required to enroll this year unless you are participating in a flexible spending account or are currently enrolled in ActiveCare 1, we encourage you to review your benefit elections to ensure you are comfortable with the premium and plan design changes.
