Early Notification of Resignation Stipend Program

SBISD is again providing an Early Notification of Resignation Stipend Program for 2014.

This incentive program encourages employees who plan to retire or resign at the end of their contract/duty year to notify SBISD early in the spring semester.

Early knowledge of available openings allows us to be more effective in staff planning and focusing our recruitment efforts. Early hiring also favorably positions SBISD to compete for the best talent in hard to fill areas. The program is available to all full-time, regular employees.

The early notification stipends are offered as follows:

• A $500 stipend if your resignation is received by 4:30 p.m., Friday, February 14, 2014
• A $300 stipend if your resignation is received between February 15, and February 28, 2014 Employees taking advantage of this stipend program must work through the last day of their contract/duty year to receive the payment on their July 1, 2014 paycheck.
